Faithful Wishes Often many desires or wishes surface in the face of a life-limiting illness. It might be things the patient or their family always wanted to do. It might be something they want to do one more time. Our Faithful Wishes program was created to meet these kinds of aspirations. We have arranged meetings between patients and their favorite sports professionals. We have made arrangements for a patient with lung cancer to go swimming once more, oxygen tank and all. And we helped another, a former pilot, to fly high in the sky again. It’s a blessing to see how these experiences impact our patients and their families, as they complete their lives with joy and fulfillment.
